Both Institutes are members of the VR DemoCentre within the Fraunhofer- Gesellschaft. The objective of this centre is to transfer the know-how from the research institutes to industry. Because of the widespread interest from industry and research, IPA and IAO will establish a regular forum to support the exchange of information in the area of VR applications. "VR '94 - APPLICATIONS and TRENDS" will inform about the growing number of applications, especially in the field of telerobotics, medicine, product design and architecture. This national forum in Germany applies both to the potential user as well as to system developers. If you are interested in giving a lecture please send an abstract (max.1 page); deadline: Sept.1 1993 The length of a lecture including diskussion is limited to 30 min. If your lecture is accepted you will be informed until Sept.15 If you intend to exhibit VR equipment and/or applications please contact us until Nov.1 1993. Since this is a national forum, the language is german, but interesting english presentations are welcome.
