Risteski Receives North Macedonia's Best Young Scientist Award

Assistant Professor Andrej Risteski received a Best Young Scientist award from North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski in recognition of his work in machine learning, statistics and computer science.

Andrej Risteski, an assistant professor in the Machine Learning Department, received a Best Young Scientist award from North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski in recognition of his work in machine learning, statistics and computer science. The award was part of the Successful Youth awards, which are given as an incentive to the scientific research, thought and artistic work of young people of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Risteski, who earned the award in the natural, mathematical and technical sciences category, was one of eight recipients honored at the ceremony, which took place at the Cabinet of the President.
