Air Slugger

Air slugger is a childs personal tee ball pitching baseball home plate. The plate comes complete with six wiffle baseballs and a plastic basball bat. The plate has two plasticn ball collector nets on each side as to allow the child to load the base with all six balls at once. firstly the child steps on the corresponding sides accordian air pressure pad, whichs slowly compresses a small air tank in the middle of the plate. When the child is satissfied with the number of pumps, he or she steps on a release button closest to them, and the pressurized air will shoot a wiffle ball through a tuber and out the center chamber.
Once the ball is shot upward the child and hit the ball with the bat.
This toy is based on the principle of pressurized air and hand eye-coordination. The child learns about the capabilities of pressurized air and the effect it has on light objects like a wiffle ball. The child must also practice hand-eye coordination to put bat to ball.
The plate should be weighted down, so rubber would be the best for the base. The rest of the toy can be made out of commercial grade plastic. The air tank will not have to exert a profound amount of pressure so it can also be made of plastic. the toy has no moving parts and no small detachable parts so the recommended age is 3+. Wiffle balls and bats can be purchased to complete the package.
